Ambulo Blanc - Texas 2025
Dry White - Select for description
Ambulo Blanc is a white wine grape variety gaining attention in Texas for its Pierce's Disease resistance and Sauvignon Blanc-like characteristics. Developed at UC Davis, this hybrid of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Chardonnay is well-suited for the Texas climate. Wines made from Ambulo Blanc often exhibit bright citrus and tropical fruit notes, sometimes with a slightly bitter and textured finish. Several Texas wineries are now growing and producing wines with this promising new variety. This wine spent three months on the lees offering bready notes.
